Hangzhou launches its first overseas young eagle action for cross-border e-commerce brand

The 130th China Import and Export Commodities Fair and the first Pearl River International Trade Forum"new business type New Model Summit Forum for Foreign Trade under the New Development pattern",is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the people's Government of Guangdong Province,and jointly hosted by the Bank of China,the China Foreign Trade Center,the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the people's Government of Guangzhou.The Forum invites guests from political and business circles at home and abroad to discuss the development of international trade,with the aim of focusing on the hot issues of international economic and trade development under the new development pattern,and promoting the transformation,upgrading and high-quality development of new business type's new mode of foreign trade.

Ren Hongbin,vice minister of commerce,stressed that the new new business type model of foreign trade can effectively promote the high-quality development of trade.The Ministry of Commerce will continue to promote the healthy and sustainable innovative development of new business type's new model of foreign trade in accordance with the decision-making arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council.

Combined with the practical results of the country's first cross-border e-commerce comprehensive experimental area for more than six years,Shi Huangkai,head of China(Hangzhou)Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Experimental Zone,analyzes the new development trend of foreign trade new business type from three aspects: "the digital transformation of trade will be accelerated", "the global layout of cross-border e-commerce will become an opportunity"and"brand development will become the key",and suggests that we should vigorously implement cross-border e-commerce brand cultivation action to promote trade transformation,industrial chain upgrading and value chain reshaping with cross-border e-commerce brands out to sea.

The overseas"Young Eagle"action for Hangzhou cross-border e-commerce brands released at the forum mainly includes three major contents:

01 Cultivation of overseas entities of cross-border e-commerce brands

Focus on enhancing the brand awareness,innovation ability,product quality management and intellectual property protection of cross-border e-commerce enterprises,and encourage enterprises to carry out product innovation according to overseas users'consumption habits,usage scenarios and fashion trends,improve the ability of online quality monitoring,control and traceability,improve product quality,tap cultural connotations,tell good brand stories,and seize the minds of users with high-quality content.

02 Cross-border e-commerce brand operation model innovation actions

Encourage enterprises to expand cross-border e-commerce brand communication channels,innovate brand marketing means,build overseas localization service system,improve the level of brand fine management,encourage enterprises to use search engines,live video streaming,social media and other ways to carry out digital marketing,while making good use of cross-border e-commerce platform marketing tools,support the development of cross-border e-commerce independent stations,improve overseas warehousing and logistics,terminal distribution,return and exchange,after-sales maintenance and other services,and optimize the consumption experience of overseas users.

03 Cross-border e-commerce brand service ecological optimization action

We will speed up the training of international talents,the cultivation of high-quality service providers,the construction of brand demonstration bases and activity carriers,and further expand the influence of cross-border e-commerce brands.
